Care and Independence was started to provide a quality service for people needing care and support due to vulnerability, either by age and or cognitive decline, learning/physical disability, sensory impairment or mental ill health. We are registered as a domiciliary support service by the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) and we are committed to safeguarding everyone who uses our service.
The Directors of the service have decades of experience in social care, working with a wide range of client groups. We are passionate about providing person centred services that are individually tailored to reflect the specific needs and preferences of the people we support. Two of the Directors are qualified social workers, who have also worked for many years in the regulation of care services. One Director, as well as holding her QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management, has a long work history of working in and managing domiciliary support services. She is also a QCF assessor. These combined experiences have given us the knowledge and skills to run a quality service that is second to none.
Our office is based in Carmarthenshire and we work within the South West Wales and Western Bay regional partnership areas. We employ local care staff who have an intimate knowledge of the areas they work in. When recruiting staff, we ensure that they share our ethos and passion for quality services with inclusive values.
